Is your dog's unusual barking a secret code for something mysterious?

Hi all, just wanted to pick your knowledgeable brains... I've not had growers before, and have my new 12 week old girlies. I have a sack of growers pellets, but wondered when I should start introducing corn etc?

I have given my girls corn from the first day they arrived in late May. I usually go up at around 3pm and sit on one of the logs in the run and feed them a handful from my hand. It's a way of them getting to know me and trust me, Girtie has become very brave and tame as sometimes she jumps up on my lap. I love the time with them. One day I was a bit short of time and decided to throw the corn on the ground but they wouldn't leave me alone until I fed them by hand. I give them dried mealworms from time to time as a treat later in the day too and they get greens a few times a week too.
