Tweety
I had to take Tatiana, one of my ex batts, to the vet today with digestive problems. My usual vet suggested taking her to the specialist vet at Avian Veterinary Services near Knutsford, which I did, and I just wanted to recommend them to anyone local to the area who has a poorly bird. It was lovely to speak to someone who knew exactly what they were talking about - so many vets seem to have only rudimentary knowledge about poultry, or don't treat them at all. I know that this practice is listed in the forum recommended vets, but wanted to mention them here too in case anyone is not aware of the forum list. Hope I've put it in the correct part of the forum.

Tweety
Yes, it's next to Fryer's nursery on Manchester Road. It wasn't cheap - consultation plus treatment consisting of the vet giving her a dose of Beryl's Friendly Bacteria (which he rated very highly) and electrolytes via a tube into her crop, was £46. However, she appears to be much better since the treatment, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her.
