clucker1 Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 One of my omlet girls has been laying her egg on the bars for the last 2 months or so which then result in the eggs dropping through the bars and breaking...sometimes her eggs are quite thin shelled. I have given then all nettex mineral powder and this has helped. She has had her feather pecked off her bottom so now has a bit of a bare bottom. I have just changed the nest bedding from straw to aubiose, to make it more comfortable today was day 1. I do not know if she just likes laying on the bars and whether there is any chance in getting her to go back to the nest. Any advice most welcome. Thank you.
