marmite+toast
Not sure if I need to be worried about one of my girls, she hasn't a proper egg for at least five days, we've had one laid in the run which looked like it had calcium deposits all over it, and then a proper soft shell (suspect there may have been some others in the nest as it has been pretty damp) I noticed today that her poo's are runny too. Wondering if she needs a calcium supplement (although have more luck getting my kids to eat sprouts than I do getting oyster shell into the chickens!) She seems well in herself, and is eating well, although is completely featherless on her underside, but not sore. Any advice appreciated. x
The Dogmother
I'd worm them then add a good poultry tonic such as Life-Guard to the water.
marmite+toast
Thank you, they've been wormed & i'll try the tonic (had not heard of that one). She actually laid this morning, bit of a funny shape, but in a real shell at least!
