I use giffgaff for my mobile phone calls as they are amazingly cheap and also seem to have good "green" credentials. Nonetheless, I was slightly surprised to see that their new initiative is "unlock a phone, unlock a chicken" in which they intend to rehome a battery chicken for everyone who unlocks their phone from their network provider. I recently got a giffgaff sim for my Galaxy Tab (didn't know that soon after they would abolish their free data feature), but the call costs are so low I am thinking of getting one for my mobile phone too. If they get this campaign up and running soon, then I might just be able to unlock a chicken together with my phone. Edited: data feature not future.
