Groovychook
My little ones are growing up fast- we've had them for 7 weeks this weekend. When we got them, they ranged from between 8 to 12 weeks old, which would mean that the youngest will be about 15 weeks now. I've read that you should start introducing layers pellets at about 16 weeks, but am not sure if that means to mix them with the growers for a while or to just swap over completely? All four of them are flushing in the face and their voices are becoming more 'grown up', so I'm taking that as a sign that they're getting ready to start laying. Any advice would be gratefully received!
Egluntyne
If your youngest is 15 weeks, I'd make the change now if it means you don't have to buy another sack of growers. If you have some left, mix them half and half until the growers have been used up.
Groovychook
Thanks Egluntyne! That's good news as I'm just about to run out of growers!
