Henchanted Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 It tuns out that as well as having one of the affected Bosch dishwashers, we also have a potentially hazardous Beko Fridge-freezer. So just wanted to know if everyone has also heard about this recall. The website to check your model if you haven't yet...https://refsafety.beko.co.uk I hope we get repair dates soon as even though we have had these for years without a clue and without a problem, knowing that they have caused fires in some households make me a bit nervous.... His MIL felt terrible as they had donated it second hand to him when he got the house last year. Smoke damage throughout the ground floor. Everything new for old on his insurance so everything got replaced. Apart from the fridge freezer. Insurance company said as it was the cause it would not be covered.
