Perch and chicks

Recommended Posts

Well Muppet hasn't read the books , for the last 3 weeks she has refused to go to bed in her temporary coop and instead introduced Chickadee to 'camping out'. Chickadee is now 9 weeks old and happily snuggles up next to Muppet on a perch, I was amazed how high up she got so early on. I suppose in the wild they'd be sleeping in trees so I've just left them to it. I know with show birds it can do something to their breastbone, but for ordinary laying hens I guess mother knows best :D
