coco
After deciding to keep my Choc orp bantam Daisy I got her a friend at the weekend, a Gold laced Orp bantam called Darcy. She is living in a rabbit hutch in view of the other chicks at the moment and i have put her in with them at night as she is not fully feathered and it has gone quite chilly at night. Do I have to do slow introductions as with older hens or is it best just to put them in together and let them get on with it. The pekins that the orps will share a run with [for now ]are quite fiesty. They are all 13 weeks old, I would like to get them all together fairly soon as I know its easier the younger they are. Plum
I'd isolate to check for disease then do slow introductions the same but they may mix quicker.
