sadietoo Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 Did anyone else read about the Swans in Abbotsbury who are proteced from foxes by Radio 4 - alluded to here [http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/countryside/8691464/Can-John-Humphrys-scare-off-all-garden-pests.html/url] I'm not sure how my neighbours would cope with the World Service blaring out all night, and what happens when they play "Sailing By" Do they still play that? Can we omleteers develop a poo proof battery radio for our girls? I suppose City Foxes wouldn't be too bothered...probably you would need the recorded calls of something much larger to scare them off (lions ?) I guess you wouldn't need it to be loud enough to disturb the neighbours unless you were very close. I must read the article and find out more.
