Hi!

 

My Bantam Wyandotte is broody and has been plucking out the feathers just below the chest area. I understand that this is normal. But now I see some redness there and I don't know what causes it. Did she just peck to hard? I can't see any evidence of lice or fleas, no eggs or anything. Any idea what it could be?

I'd say sensitivity to the bedding fabric she's nesting on. If you can break her broodines it should resolve
