The Raven
I really don't know much about this at all, but if i got my own chickens/ducks and ate their eggs, how could i be sure i wouldn't get salmonellosis from them? As I said I do not know much about this, and that is why i am posting the question.
counturchickens
I'm not an expert, but I think I heard salmonella is more common in duck eggs? I suppose that might be opposed to commercial hens who will be vaccinated.
Geoid
Most hens are vaccinated against salmonella when they are a few weeks old.
The Raven
Don't think ducks would be - that makes my decision even harder (I have to make an impossible decision - or )
