Take part in study on PFAS 'forever chemicals' in eggs

Has anyone ever come across a chicken killing a garden bird? I've just found Pepper in the internal run eating a dunnock fledgling which was definitely still warm...... I wondered if it had gone in after the pellets and been attacked by her - I'm just surprised it couldn't fly away...... I'm really upset by it as I was watching one of the dunnock fledglings on my garden wall earlier today.....and it was really quite tame......

I am afraid that they can and do kill and eat fledglings, small mammals and frogs.

Yes, ours killed a fledgling sparrow last summer. I was quite upset at the time.

Lol, just stumbled across this post...my daughters were horrified to find our 4 bantams pecking furiously at a house sparrow the other evening! I have to admit i have been feeling a little jumpy now when they stalk me up the garden path

Ours have killed and eaten mice, adult sparrows, frogs they're not fussy at all

Wow chickens are worse than my dog...that wouldn't be hard though. I hope ducks are better!
