I have 4 silkies and they are 14 weeks old.I have read it is very hard to tell the sexe,s and thought i would post here to see if anyone has any ideas.I thought i ,three cocks.

Girls usually have bouffant top knots and boys don't as the feathers swoop back (room for the comb to come through). Also they make different noises when they squawk (eg. when you pick them up).

So my guess would be 1 2 & 4 = boys,3 = girl.

I would say with a fair bit of confidence that 1, 2 and 4 are boys and 3 is a girl

I know, right? It's been yelling for some frizzles to fill it! Buttercup farm has 2 growers unsexed so I'm waiting for a call about them!

Yes, go for Frizzles, they are just lovely tubby girls with their little yellow legs. Mine are all such characters and so friendly and perky. Shouldn't say it, but they seem to me to be more characterful than my Silkies and certainly less concerned about going broody.

My silkies are so funny, they bicker constantly like old fishwives
