hi i newish to keeping chicken,we give them the usual layers pellets and have chicken treat(corn seeds etc) every now and then,along with the usual vegs and stuff.we also give them acv in there water for one week a month as it says,im just wondering what else people give there chickens,vitamins etc.xx

Not really, I only add a bit of garlic to their water in the winter months (which they hate!) and cod liver oil to their feed if they are moulting. If they are healthy I am reluctant to add to much, I let Garvo do the rest!

We give ours a little scoop of Poultry Spice in each jug of feed while they are moulting - seems to work wonders! Its a good pick me up any time if they're a little under the weather and they love it during the winter when mixed with mash and warm water to make a porridge.

ye i was thinking of getting some poultry spice,might have to go get some,just want to make sure theyre getting whast they need.xx
