beach chick
poss a silly question, but I am redoing a bed and have forgotten how to divide perennials! I've dug up some bits of geranium and sedum to fill some gaps til the shrubs grow. after you have replanted the healthy bits in the new location, do you cut them down? thank you omleteers! Bramble
I would cut them down (specially at this time of year), it will give them a chance to concentrate on putting new roots down rather than keeping lots of top growth going
