Eglu cube or go up with 2m run

I have an Eglu classic with run in a fairly exposed garden, I live on a hill.

In today's bad weather I am using the full run cover, but wonder if it is enough.

Can anyone tell me if the chickens are cold or not happy in the wind will they go into the eglu?

mine normally hide in the eglu or under the table I have it on(WIR), they wont be cold,

its very windy where i am today and i was worred so much about my girls so i left them in the run/coop but they started BOK BOKKIING to come out so i let them out and they seem fine been out all day

having mud/dust baths and bug hunting

I have a piece of old lino over one end of the run but mine decided to escape yet again from the netted off area to scratch about on the lawn (oops!) but then broke back in when it started to rain again!!!

I have a very exposed garden too and any plastic covers I put on just ripped to shreds .

 

I then bought a couple of sheets of corrugated plastic, put lots of bungee ropes over them to hold them on and voila! A water and wind proof run .
