Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

The girls were free ranging quite happily (they are all healthy birds and eat the same food apart from when they are let free in the garden) when suddenly Penny started to make a racket. I went out to find Norma, a slikie cross of 14 weeks laying on her back with her feet in the air. Her neck was very floppy (does it go like this - almost like it was broken??) - she was still warm and 5 minutes before she was OK. Any ideas? Thank you

Could she have been attacked do you think? Maybe by a cat or a fox?

That was my 1st thought but all the other chooks were there and they were all OK. There were no feathers lost and I could see no sign of marks on her. It was like she just suddenly keeled over an died

Good job you weren't there to witness it. One of my very first girls was ill, fairly early on, and she had a heart attack while I was sitting in the garden with her. It was really horrible and, although I was glad I was with her at the end, O wish I'd missed out that particular 3 minutes.
