Hi, I hope you don't think I am being rude but I think my chicken is mentally disturbed! she is a Miss Pepperpot named Matilda we purchased her and a Gingernut Ranger a couple of months ago.

She has not layed for 3wks and will just sit forever if we don't get her out!

As usual I let them freerange yesturday while I was on my lunch break, they are normally fine while I potter about indoors. All of a sudden I heard lots of noise it was Matilda at the door making a real racket she ran in the house and was going mad in the kitchen! when she ran out she then flew up at the outside window and tried to sit on the windowsill! god knows what the neighbours think. Oh and our hens seem to make alot of noise.

Hi when you say she just sits do you mean in the nest box? Not common with hybrids but possible I guess that she is broody they do get quite attitudy noisy and a bit nutty too
