Softies

Recommended Posts

My 4 omlet girls who are 18 months are doing softies every other day or so for the last 3 weeks. I am trying to work out the cause. They are on layers pellets and for the last 2 weeks have had oyster shell and cod liver oil added to their feed. Help needed please... could it because

they have got 2 newbies in a rabbit hutch opposite them who have been there 3 weeks or

they are having a mini moult (the occasional feather is left around and I understand it is the moult time)

their treats (kitchen s"Ooops, word censored!"s) which they have always had a small bowl full is upsetting them

Any other ideas? They normally free range for a couple of hours a day. Thank you. (cube purple)GNRGNRPPPPGNR(Bluebelle)(brown white rabbit)

Another thought I meant to note is the girls have had their feed stations reduced by half as I have given my other grub to the newbies ie my old 4 girls have just one grub now between them. Presently waiting for a new grub to arrive from Omlet, meanwhile have today added an old tin for them to eat out of, hopefully they won't knock it over.:lol::lol:(cube purple)GNRGNRGNRPPPP(Bluebelle)
