Long story but do you know if you can apply red mite powder to guinea pigs, my guineas have moved into a chicken coop, that's developed red mites! ! have treated twice now!! but now they have moved on to the pigs aswell! Sandychick Posted September 18, 2011 Share Posted September 18, 2011 I'm not sure, but 'Diatomaceous Earth' kills off red mite and is safe for use on all pets - it can be used in their house too. try this link Hope this helps - red mite powder could be ok too, but I don't know for sure.
