She has been moulting for the last few weeks (seems like forever now) so I haven't had any eggs from her for ages. When I went to let the girls out yesterday morning, there was a lovely little softy egg It was quite small and egg-shaped, but with no shell, just a layer of "stuff". I opened it and there was a cloudy yolk and quite a lot of runny egg white. I made such a fuss of her; I thought it was so sweet. I'm sure she wondered what the heck was going on and what was I making such a fuss of her about, but I just thought it was lovely that her little body was still trying to do its thing even though she's not at her best.
