WitchHazel
Hi All Paypal say that one of the ways you can identify a phishing email is that they use generic greetings. Today I had an email purporting to be from Paypal, addressed to me using my first name and last name. I was suspicious, the links didn't look right, and I could see that it was suggesting I added paypal@e.paypal.co.uk to my address book. I've forwarded it to Paypal's spoof email service. I imagine it's as a result of an email I have sent someone, as my "From" information includes my name; or else from details somewhere where my email address and name have been part of a data file. I just wanted to warn you all, in case you rely on the lack of personalisation to identify phishing.
