Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I think I may have rats tunneling in to the run of my ! I remove all food and water at night so am not sure what they are after or how to stop them

are the holes quite big? they may be after any food that has dropped onto the floor

Why not place paving slabs under the Eglu?

We found similar a couple of years ago and it was rats. We also found same tunnels going up into the nearby compost bin.We got some heavy gauge wire mest shheting and made a square of about 1.5 m and put that under the Eglu so it stuck out around the outside and into about half a metre of their run. We pegged it firmly to the ground. That seemed to stop them tunnelling under the Eglu and up into the run but didn't stop the girls digging around in their run. We obviously also got some safe rat traps and put them down. We then started bringing in their food every night which we stupidly hadn't before. Touch wood no more problems.

I also have mesh fully under some of my runs to keep vermin out
