Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Sorry, I am really not with it today

 

I collected my chocolate Orpingtons yesterday, they're settling nicely.

 

They were in with the buff Orpingtons that are coming tomorrow afternoon, I didn't expect to get the Buffs as I only went for the chocolates and didn't have enough for the buffs as well and the chocolates.

 

So....can I put them in together tomorrow, this sounds odd, will they remember each other or am I giving them human traits?

You'll only know if you try it . As it's only been a day or so, they may well remember each other .

There may be some argy bargy as they tussle for top hen status, but hopefully it won't be as bad as if one pair had already got well established.

I am going to try it....luckily, my Barred Rock and White Star, have, of their own accord, vacated their coop to move in with the big girls , this came about yesterday and was really suprised. That means I have vacant coop if things don't go to plan.
