That's a very good picture and she looks a real poser.

Last winter a number of people asked about chicken jumpers for their poor featherless ex bats but I seem to remember the conclusion was that they are not a good idea as they prevent the feathers coming through properly

I knitted some when we were thinking of ex-batts then tried one on Poached when she had a cold. She hated it !

They do damage the quills as they emerge.... They are better without them.

Spinning Top shame Poached hated it - I can't help but think she looks rather cute in that. My dogs have to wear coats in the winter and at first I always think they look really smart, but come spring when the coats come off again, I have to admit that they look so much better without. Actually they look better without collars too. Nature does seem to get thing more right than we do.

I just thought it was a cute picture:) I was more concerned that the chook would walk into the jumper (sort of like when crawling baby girls crawl into their dresses??) and fall over. Am personally much more in favour of lovely fur or feathers. Look at the state of some so-called 'celebrity' pets
