coco
One of my Barbu d uccle bantams started crowing today. I've had my suspicions for a few weeks now but she is definately a he. Hopefully he won't be too loud, at least we are ok till the lighter mornings.
surfer_chicken
Uh oh Will you be keeping him? I love cockerels, but they're not everyone's favourite alarm clock
Mum
That happened with my Araucana, Agatha ... changed to Arthur and was returned to the farm. That was the bad news. The good news was, I bought four more hens to replace him He was a late developer and it was disappointing, no question of keeping him because of the neighbours, but boy was he handsome! I'm very fortunate that the farm where I source all my chooks were happy to take him back. Hope your boy isn't too noisey and you're able to keep him; what will you do if you can't?
