coco Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 I have three/ four feeders spaced around my run and two drinkers so that everyone has access to it. Is there anywhere in your run that the hen at the bottom of the pecking order can escape to for a break from the others. It does usually resolve itself over time, I have had introductions that have taken eight months and one that was 12 hours. M-C-Chickens Posted January 5, 2012 Author Share Posted January 5, 2012 thanks for your replies! my girls were fine till a couple of days ago when the most mature hen started to lay. the whole coop dynamics have changed and two girls are singling out one of the weaker hens( none of the other hens get invovled ), i have separeted the two bullies and the coop has returned to normal, very strange. its so detressing to see them fight. all has been well for 6 weeks, very confused on what has happned i now face the problem of what to do with my two agressive hens? i have two 2 year old hybrids who free range so letting the bullies into the garden may be a little dangerous because of the size difference. clare Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
