Chickendoodle
Yet another salt & pepper grinder set has bitten the dust. They were not cheap either - they were the ones you operate with one hand by squeezing the top handles together. I don't mind spending a decent amount to get replacements but looking at various reviews even the expensive ones can be rubbish. Can anyone recommend any good ones? Matt F
We have had this one over a year and have been very pleased with it: http://www.bodum.com/gb/en-us/shop/detail/11002-294/?showsize=false&navid=68 Twist one way for salt, the other for pepper. Happy grinding! Matt
Daphne
If you have deep pockets an ex-professional chef good friend of mine recommends the Peugeot brand. Best sit down whilst you browse Like you we have had to ditch countless grinders over the years and I find myself still using a pepper mill I was given 25 years ago, even though its wood and a bit manky and doesn't have a brand name on it! Chickendoodle
The Bodum one looks interesting - thanks Matt. I have had a look at the Peugeot range as well - some of them aren't too bad price wise. If I need to replace anything I am trying to get the best I can afford so that it lasts a long time as in the long run it is more cost effective. Fed up of having to throw stuff away. Going to London at the weekend and will have a good search

Chickendoodle
Taken the plunge and ordered a couple of Peugeot ones after scouring the reviews. Found a site with 20% off so they were "only" £32 each Thanks for the help all
