Cold weather and worming?

Recommended Posts

Now that my hens are starting to lay again I am thinking about worming them. I was going to start tomorrow however, the weather has turned really cold and as they can't have treats when I'm worming them I am worried about them getting cold overnight without their late afternoon handful of corn.

Am I just fussing?:oops: I like to give them corn at the end of the day, particularly when it is cold as I think they need the energy. There are 7 of them in a cube so plenty of warm bodies I guess but I was just wondering.

Shall I hold off the worming, or do it anyway?
