loumabel
My pekin Blossom is getting very muddy clogged up feet and I was wondering if its ok to trim the feathers on her feet. She hates having her feet washed so it is a battle to keep them mud free. Also her claws are very long and are curling upwards is it ok to trim these too, how can I tell where its safe to trim them back to? Thanks
Egluntyne
Yes. I trim the foot feather of my 3 Pekins regularly. They get very clagged up with poo otherwise. The only drawback is that they might be barred from entering a poultry show.
