ajayb
Help, please! From 12 eggs only one has hatched (day 22). Although I'll keep the incy going for a few more days does anyone have any special advice for raising a singleton if that's my lot?
Redwing
Try to find it a friend if you can, a post on a forum that has a wanted section like Practical Poultry is worth a try or phone round breeders - as i hatch a lot I get at least one appeal a week for a single day old chick, it's very common If you can't find it a buddy then a small fluffy toy will give it something to snuggle in to
hennyjenny
Good advice from the last post. If you leave it on its own it will be very noisy so some company for it would be great but it should survive if not. Good luck
ajayb
Thanks, guys. For some reason I couldn't get into the site to see your replies all day - I'll post an appeal on Practical Poultry.
