Minty_76
Hi all My Old English Game bantam is acting a little odd and I am wondering if anyone knows why she is doing this. I have 3 bantams and my Wyandotte has just come into lay. MY OEG follows her into the Eglu when she is laying and stands at the door just watching. Then as soon as the egg is laid she goes into the nest box and starts kicking it around and trying to sit on it. Then to top it off she makes this awful, loud alarm bokking that sounds like a cockerel for about 5 minutes. Any ideas? Oh yeah, she has never laid an egg! lillybettybabs
Maybe she has the instinct but not sure what to do yet
Minty_76
Yes maybe- lets hope! Think her eggs might be the size of quails eggs though as she is smaller than a pigeon!
