Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi all,

I have bought some fertile eggs I have been told that they are white marsh daisy,

having read up a bit on this breed I am now having my doubts as these are not much bigger than a silkie egg and i have read that they lay a good size egg.

Any thoughts on this.

I think you are just going to have to hatch them and see

They do lay well but not sure they lay big eggs though. White Marsh Daisies are quite rare and the gene pool is probably very small so perhaps this has had an effect on egg size

Sounds as if you could have something rare there.

Just hazarding a (wild?) guess - could they be eggs for a banty Marsh Daisy as most of the large breeds also come in banty size

I don't think marsh daisys come in bantam size.
