dislaney
Following the cold and very wet weather last weekend, a couple of my girls have developed sniffles and cold-like symptoms, namely runny noses and sneezing. One of them also seems to be rattling when she breathes. But both are still laying, and eating, drinking and running around normally. I've been dosing them with Nettex drops for a couple of days, and putting a tonic in their water - is there anything else I could/should be doing?? Have been to the vet to have another of my girls put to sleep (liver growth - see separate post) and mentioned the sneezing problem to her - she said to keep an eye on it but not to worry unduly if everything else was OK. If it persisted she would then prescribe antibiotics. All advice gratefully received - thank you!

Plum
I'd ask for antibiotic for the one that's rattling. Otherwise it sounds as though you are doing the right thing just watch out to see if they become dull, hunched or stop, eating drinking.
