Do any other cube owners find that their hens take shelter under the cube when the weather is bad?

 

Also I've found that the hens are laying every other day now - I'm not sure if this is because the weather is bad or if they are going into an early moult.......

 

Chips had a peck at me this morning as I hadn't taken her treats when I went to check on the food! She did let me stroke her though as if to say sorry.

Mine do that to and the funny thing is that the Cube is in a custom built run with a proper roof! They seem to think that the only sheltered place to be is under the Cube and yet the entire run is dry when it's raining - bird brains .
