Chicken boarders

Hi everyone. It's my first time hatching with one of my pekins Who just wouldn't give up being broody!!!!!

 

So need some advice, she has been sitting really tight on 6 eggs, to the extent that unless I lift her she doesn't get of the nest at all!!!!!!( she has gone 3 days, then I had to lift her I couldn't stand it!) She has pooped in the nest 3 times so far (and thats with me getting her to poo outside of it twice!!) and we are on day 15. I'm really not convinced the eggs will still be viable (haven't candelled as I'm really not confident on what to do!) I have cleaned out and re-freshed the nest each time and gently wiped the eggs with warm water and paper towel. Also her poo seems loose. She has mixed corn as feed.

 

Has anyone else had this sort of thing happen?????? It hasn't been the easy experience I read about!!!! Does anyone thing the eggs may still hatch???? Sat 12 th should be hatch day 21. Any advice gratefully recieved.

It's often better just to remove them daily

 

I'd remove het for the next few days then leave her to sit from day 19/20

 

The eggs may well hatch I've had messy broodies and the eggs hatched ok
