dance in the dark
Has anyone used this? I have just ordered some to give my coops a bit of a general clean but I have a couple of questions: 1. Is it truly safe for animals to come into direct contact (ie using it to wash their feet, etc) I have seen some places say you can do this and other just haven't mentioned it. 2. Is there an age which you wouldn't expose to this product? I have some chicks coming in one of my coops in a few days and want to know if it's ok to expose them to it to. Any information would be very gratefully received! Thanks. Tim
Daphne
I use it when I'm giving the coops a thorough clean out and to clean out a brooder - allowing it to dry before the chicks go back in. My local vet uses in between animals so I think its pretty safe! I've never heard of using it as a footbath (I presume for humans?) and I wouldn't leave it lying around for an inquisitive beak to drink, its not meant to be ingested. dance in the dark
I should have been clear, by footbath I meant for the girls. It says you can clean their feet with it to sort out any fungus or whatever they might be carrying under their claws etc. I am sure it will be fine I just wanted to hear some direct experiences
