Help with Grub Feeder!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have an Eglu GO with the grub and glug feeders..Problem is, I haven't quite mastered a way of filling up the grub feeder without actually having to go inside the eglu run. The glug can be filled with a watering can through the railings, but the eglu go feeder has a lid so am not sure how would be best.

Any ideas?

Thanks

No, I just have to squat and reach in to pull it out. I've recently decided to take it down and put it away every night because the slugs get in it and coat the food with slime and I'm worried about mice as well. I'm not sure how long I will put up with this, though. Makes me want a WIR!

I've got a WIR but not an omlet one. The problem is I can't hang it up so it sits on the floor - with the slugs. I bring it in at night to stop it getting sticky and sluggy. :vom:

I'd heartily recommend Omlet's Classic Feeder Drinker Stand for fitting a Grub/Glug into a non Omlet set up. It is just so easy to pick up and bring in. I have a wee hook in one of my kitchen cabinets and hang it from that at night. Then I clean it and re-fill it the next morning. Bizarrely this gives me a great feeling of satisfaction

It comes in green though it does not look like it from the picture on the Omlet shop.
