skwump
I currently have 2 little call duck girls happily living with my chickens. I've heard you can't keep drakes with chickens, but does this also apply to weeny call ducks? My husband is absolutes besotted with the ducks and really wants to breed them. Thanks x

Chortle Chook
I agree with your OH that Call Ducks are just the sweetest things and don't put a webbed foot wrong I have two little call ducks, a drake and his wife, both waddling free with my banties (though at night they have a separate house) and they get along with the hens just fine. I have a wee Silkie cockerel and he sometimes chases the little drake away but that is all. I think that without him all would be total harmony. Now I'm intent on getting one more little girl call duck.
