Guest Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 After yesterday's sad news I was delighted to find our first egg. I'm not sure who laid it but there is was in the egg port when I got home. Mum said it wasn't there when she let the girls out of the run this morning so it's been laid sometime during the day. The egg weighed in at 45g and I fried it up for James to have with his tea. We all had a dip though! It tasted yummy and cooked beautifully. The shell was quite thin when I cracked it but I'm sure that will improve. Here's to many many more eggs! I'm being really dumb about the pictures today (yes I know I'm an ICT teacher!) and I can't get them in. But if you want a peek they are on my new blog url - http://penguinmad.vox.com.
