Roselady Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 Just saw all five girls very excitedly milling round their dust bath in their run (and this is their FR time too!) Went to see what was so interesting and they were pecking/bothering a poor bedraggled bee Rescued the bee and they weren't happy that I'd shooed them off! Do chooks normally try to eat bees/wasps or do they have the sense/instinct not to and mine just haven't learnt yet? Worried about them getting stung Grateful for your thoughts ? Chortle Chook Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 I can't say I've ever had a hen with a bee sting (and hope I don't). Perhaps they don't get stung.
