KateH
Hello, I am thinking of getting a classic or go and was wondering how i could attach them to a wooden run? I don't have the space for a walk in so am thinking of getting something lower. I could fit in the run that comes with the eglu's but I'd like something a bit wider to give them more space. Has anyone already done this? How have people attached classic/go's to the outside of runs before? Any advice / pics would be appreciated. Thanks! Olly
If you take a look at the thread 'We're all Planning Walk in Runs' you should find some examples - be warned, this is a long thread! Most people have done it by adapting a wire panel to fit around the outside of the Eglu, obviously it needs to be secure and fox-proof but it certainly can be done. Ain't Nobody Here
Not sure I know of anyone who's done that but have you looked at this thread? It may give you some ideas or indeed, inspiration .
sandyhas3chucks
I have to low runs with lift off lids and I have the Eglus on a table inside the runs... I have them on a table so the girls can get under as well not loosing much space, and eggs through the port, and daily poo picking is not a problem through the top. on is 4ft tall all around the other is 4ft one side and just under the other . which was intended to give a slope for water run off with a clear tarp over...
