chickencam Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 I have 10 balls of Rowan Designer DK shade 628 pale purple, it is a long shot to see if anyone has any of this in their stash because I am 2 balls short for a new project, but also has anyone found a good source for making up numbers in discontinued yarns? I have quite a lot of lots of 9 or 10 balls which are insufficient to make adult sized items, I inherited quite a lot when my Gran died and have picked up packages in charity shops etc. I search ebay regularly but it is the sort of thing that i would expect there to be a specialist site for. They have a search facility for members and you're able to select exact yarns and shades and see if anyone has any they're willing to trade. Also try google searches and ebay. I contacted Sirdar when my mum was a bit short for one of her projects and they were able to help so maybe Rowan could too?
