LolaCola Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 This is going to be my 1st hatch, I've brought 6 silkie eggs and 6 bantam orpingtons online, but my incubator only holds 10 can I store the other eggs to use when those have hatched? And is it true bantams hatch quicker than standard eggs, will my chosen breeds roughly hatch same time, there from different sellers? surf_space Posted July 22, 2012 Share Posted July 22, 2012 I've just hatched some japanese bantam and pekin bantam chicks and they hatched at day 20. Although some were a little late, hatching in the early hours of day 21, so it can go either way. But I would be prepared for an early hatch.
