Is your dog's unusual barking a secret code for something mysterious?

I've just grubbed out a who;e row of lovely plants, which had loads of flowers, but not one bean has set.

Mine were the same - lovely healthy plants and not a bean to be seen

We had far less than normal and a second sowing are also poor, there were loads of blackfly this year too, but even they got washed away in the end.

I harvested mine last week & had them in a Rissotto........we seemed to have lots,but I have never grown them before so have nothing to compare the crop with.

They were in a large well drained pot though,rather than the ground,which may have stopped them becoming waterlogged?
