To go on their holidays that is! They are going to stay at my friends house in her spare run for a fortnight whilst I build their new WIR

 

They will have a lot less space for a couple of weeks as we don't want to integrate her chooks with mine, so they will be in a traditional style chicken house with run extension, but she's promised to let me FR as much as possible. So I've packed them up with their new super posh pellets, mixed with seaweed supplement and oyster shell, plus some corn and mealworm treats.

 

I'm going to really miss them, I've been very aware of all the little noises they make today and I'm sure they know something is going on! So 19 minutes and counting, then I can crack on with dismantling the old run

Thanks, well the old run is down, was a bit of a trauma getting the fence posts out but it's done now. Was hoping to get the wood sorted and be in a position to get rid of it asap but my husband is on a weekend long stag do and my 2 year old has chicken pox so I'm pretty impressed with what we've managed to achieve.

 

Just hope it's all plain sailing and there's no hiccups along the way!
