Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi everyone. I am hoping to get two 16 week old Norfolk Greys to add to my 7 girls and Harvey. The girls are getting older and I only get 1 or 2 eggs a day. At what age can they be intergrated I rely on the eggs as I am a vegetarian and don't want to go through the winter without any. I have been lucky as I have not had to buy any eggs since I started keeping chickens in london two years ago.

Norfolk Greys are nice birds and tend to be quite confident. I would look to quarantine them for a week or so (good practice when buying any new birds) then let them get used to their run and then try supervised free ranging when they are about 18/19 weeks

Norfolk Greys are beautiful chickens, hardy, pretty and good layers. Can't add to Redwings advice just wanted to say good choice.
