feemcg Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 Hi there..I started off with 3 hybrids, then added another 2 then this year have gradually added 5 pure breeds that I've hatched myself. It doesn't matter if they are pure breeds or hybrids you will still get a degree of pecking to sort out the pecking order (and less eggs from your pure breeds). Mine all tend to run around in the same 'groups' they were introduced/hatched in and the younger ones know to keep their distance from the big ones.
