HennyPenny59
Hi everyone Yesterday it was hammering down with rain all day, and when I came home from work I found that my lot had been wallowing ankle deep in mud. When hubby came home we moved the run to another part of the garden which doesn't tend to go wet and squishy when it rains, so they are now out of the mud. Anyway, today I noticed that my Speckeldy has a foot that looks a little sore .. its a little red in places, and the redness seems to be in thin lines that follow the bottom of the leg scales (sorry, difficult to describe) Anyway, im a little worried she could have picked up something from the mud that has caused an infection, and that might get worse, and was wondering what I could do to help her ... At present, she is absolutely fine in herself, and im really hoping she will still be so when I open the coop tomorrow morning!!
Egghead68
I would keep an eye on it and apply weak iodine solution twice daily (dilute to colour of weak tea) to disinfect it.
